I am a strong advocate of taking advice in areas I know little about.
If I were to buy an Investment property, I would want to speak to the local estate agent with local presence to find out about the area and what properties would be best suited to command maximum rent. The same goes for those buying holiday home investments. These guys know their market better than anyone and will offer free advice in the hope that you use their services.
When I buy a property, I use the local trustworthy Solicitors to ensure they do the job correctly.
The benefit of “locally sourced advice” is that they genuinely care. These guys generally live in the local community; word-of-mouth is how they get their next customers. They want you to jump onto Google and write a vital 5* review about how they served you and helped you through a stressful process.
The same goes for mortgages. Our vast client base is a considerable mix of society covering most industries; amongst these, we have fellow financial experts from our Regulator, lawyers and bankers.

They will help you understand whether a two-year or five-year fixed rate could be favourable or, alternatively, a tracker rate.
