Global Treatment

Global Treatment
medical treatment

In our series of ‘Protection’ blogs, we want to present a leading protection solution which everyone should have.

Firstly, I love the NHS. It is a world-leading organisation filled with incredible people.

However, they are under strain. Waiting times can be high, and care can be a postcode lottery. It is fair to say they have fantastic health solutions, but what if other countries are further advanced in certain conditions?

Imagine if there was a protection policy whereby you had a severe health condition, and you could be sent anywhere in the world to receive life-saving treatment when it is unavailable or awaiting authorisation in the UK. Or simply to beat waiting times in the UK.

Would you take this cover as an added benefit to a life insurance policy?

What if I told you it was only £3 per month?

What if I told you that it covers your children in addition, with no further cost, until they are 18 (21 in full-time education).

Would this give you profound peace of mind?

It is an absolute no-brainer and a benefit of potentially incredible value.

It covers Cancer, Coronary artery bypass surgery, heart valve replacement or repair, Neurosurgery, live-donor organ transplants and bone marrow transplants.

How does it work?

It is easy; these are the steps after diagnosis;

  • You call the Life insurance company’s partner.
  • The medical board reviews and finds better solutions and presents options to you.
  • You select treatments and where in the world you receive them based on the findings presented to you.
  • The Life insurance company takes care of all arrangements, such as travel and accommodation for you and your partner/friend (or parents of a child).
  • You receive treatment and return to the UK
  • The insurance company takes care of ongoing medical costs.

Of course, there are limits of cover, such as it covers £1 million in any one year and £2 million over the policy term (each).

This policy aims to give a better outcome when you are most vulnerable.

This is Global Treatment and a benefit I highly recommend!
